Life has thrown me several plot twists; multiple sclerosis and lung cancer were certainly bummers. Fortunately, a passion for horses and a fiercely optimistic streak have made for quite a story.

The Birdie Project
When I found Birdie, the fantasy of competing at the highest national level became a possibility. The Birdie Project is about continuing to believe in that possibility no matter how many times or how loudly the universe says no. It is about the community we’re creating, the perseverance we celebrate, and the humor that helps us keep moving forward.
